Step-by-Step (Android · L2TP/IPsec PSK)

  1. 1

    Open SettingsNetwork & Internet (or Connections) → VPNAdd ( + ).

Menu names vary slightly by Android version and OEM (Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.).

  2. 2

Set Type to L2TP/IPsec PSK. Enter a Name (e.g. “Cocoleech VPN”) and a Server address from /vpn (e.g. vpn-ams.cocoleech.com).

  3. 3

Open Advanced options (if shown). Set IPsec pre-shared key to . Optionally set Forwarding routes to .

If your UI doesn’t have “Forwarding routes”, you can skip it.

  4. 4

Save the profile. Tap it to connect. Enter your Cocoleech Username and Password, then enable Save account information and tap Connect.

  5. 5

When connected, Android shows “VPN activated” and a key icon in the status bar.

All traffic may route via VPN depending on your device/vendor settings.

  6. 6

Troubleshooting: verify Type = L2TP/IPsec PSK, Pre-shared key = vpn, and the Server is correct.

If it keeps “Connecting…”, try another server/region from /vpn, toggle Airplane Mode, or reboot. Ensure time/date are correct and Private DNS is disabled while testing.

Tip: Check your public IP after connecting—your region should match the VPN server you chose.
